Death Note...
Wednesday, October 25, 2006

Went to watch "Death Note" on 23 oct @ Tamp GV, 6pm, it wasn't really nice but majority of my friends who had watch it commented on it....

The music wasn't nicely match, the god of death wasn't nice looking.. Haiz.. waste money and i rushed down from school, i was late for a few minute. However, there's a lot of people watchin, we were sitted the front row, i think only the 1st. 1st row not occupied.

.....haha.....

and i spend the next day, the whole public holiday @ home sleeping & watching animax.. didn't know i had animax in my cable programme, cool man......

popcorn & candy floss

After the exercise, we had our viewing of how to handle the machine & a small discussion of the fund raising...

The whole corridoor of E1 level 7 was full of the smell, and security came to check on us (then we know that the faci actually didn't book the room). We had a difficulty searching for oil, as the oil didn't appear to be what we were looking for..

We had a fun experience in the making of the candy floss & popcorn and thanx to the guys, we had a chance to try out all flavour & the popcorn, see the arrival of the "babies", without needing us to get floss tick to our hand, face & hair.. some had the hands on trial after we view the video.....

* feel cheated as we spend so much on popcorn in theatre yet now after trying on our own, we could make a lot out of a small cup of raw popcorn.

Badminton & gym..

yoyo.. Last sat (21 oct), Deepavali, was my first time stepping in to our RP sport complex...

It's cool man, the aircon in the competition hall was cooling, however, the team wasn't on time. Alan and i had to wait for about an hour before seeing them walking in, but we were then told that the complex was locked during public holiday & Sun, so the 4 of us proceed to the forum and had our game.

ard 10am, then the rest arrive, it was about 11am we were told that the complex was open. Walking to there is like conquer a mountain, there were a lot of steps on the stair and it's a distance away from W1. Very tiring.....

We had fun, we also had a small competition among ourselves... Then some of us proceed to the gym..

sulaiman was there like a instructor, guiding me the use of the facilities and taught me the use of it and how it can help me train different parts of the body. ( i cant stay and use a machine for more than 5 min, i have to keep trying and changing)

Then we went for a shower before the meeting, the water was power and feel great, at least the changing room is clean.. we had cup noodles for lunch.. The feeling of a sweaty exercise followed by a cooling cold shower and a hot cup noodles was really great. However, i had a body ache the next day..

K box
Friday, October 20, 2006

Sian yesterday went to the stupid K box with issabella n jasmine (cancel the paln to go watch "Death Note" with Dee) after the SL meeting, the K box cheat my money, thought we brought food in (is wrong but we were hungry n the food there provided is too expensive) , the person say he will return ask when we leave but he didn't. and it was irritating as the keep walking pass n spot check us, it simply make us feel very uncomfortable esp we are there to enjoy. we sang a lot of songs, till our throat feel hurt and ate a lot of tibits.

we reach there about 7pm stay till about 11pm, took a cab home (3 person, include me). however, no cab wanna to stop either that or they say they are gg to jurong. feel like they did it on purpose, cause it's near to midnight, they wanna earn that midnight charge. luckily after 1/2hr of waiting we managed to hired a cab home.

by then reach home n settle everything is around 12.30am n i jux went to bed with my wet hair, too tired.

in total, we spent $33 each ($23 [k box] + $5[mac] + $5[cab])....

Broke le... no more $$$$ =.=

Let's go Japan!!
Tuesday, October 17, 2006

2 days ago, on Sunday @ ACM (asia civilisation museum).

there were jap bazzar, food, mini concert and anime screening.....
performancer Helleven, Lucify and etc. there were about 5-6 groups of performance.

however, the sound system there wasn't really good, it blast and heard the ear drum of my, causing headache to me.

from my point of view, it was anew experience i had with the jap culture and enjoy the performance brought by the performancer, all jap songs. however, i feel that the really peak performance/ atmosphere was brought by the last 3 teams of the day. the really rock the performance and the audience were enjoying it and start to "dace" along.

it's cool but mayb due to the haze, i wasn't really able to enjoy it. now then i know that there's about 3 major jap cuture group in Singapore.

Jabs & FA
Saturday, October 14, 2006

Today, we met 7.45am @ Novena, to get to Tan Tok Seng (travellers' clinic) to get our Haelth briefing and Jabs.

We were splitted into to 2 teams as some weren;t able to make it on time for the appointment @8.30am. We almost lost oir way, we had to ask stranger for direction. Upon reaching, we had to fill in some form.

After the briefing, we had the Jabs while some were still taking the Jabs, the @nd team arrived, including Jackie. Therefore, the guys purposly make fun of him, trying to scare him by screaming as he was afraid of needle (he eben need 2 nurse to attend to him just to get the 2 Jabs done) .

Then we proceed back to Woodland for lunch and First Aid (FA) workshop, we had Joshua1 & Fazi as our planner. We were taught how to do a item check in the FA kit. We also gone through the CPR, head, arm & leg injuries, when people get choke. We all had a chance to try out our skills.

It was really fun, we also had a brak after that... Last but not least, we had a evacuation exercise, Sherrill & Jia ming were the casualty.

My experience:
Sherrill: Chia Hao, Farhana, Syaz, Jackie, Fatima and me
-head injury, bleeding
-fracture left arm & leg
-used sleeping bad as structure
-conscious-->unconscious-->no pulse no breathing-->conscious

Jia ming: Sulaiman, Gareth, Jennifer, Sze Hao and Joshua2
-human structure to shoulder lift

i was in the sherrill attend team, we had to shift her diwn with limited manpower to W4, where the "ambulance" is, lift was unavailable, we had to use the stair, it was a challenging one. However, the fun part was when i was transfer to attend Jia ming, Sherrill was laying on the grass patch when the water spray suddenly activated hence the Team got wet so was the casaulty. I was in a delimma as they ask for my help but i wasn't able to go over as i was doing a human structure then However, they did managed to get Sherril over to the "ambulane" and Chia Hao came over to help after that.

Our human structure-->shoulder lift-->caterpillar walk (but some doesnt know where their right/left hence unable to listen to comment, jux like me)

We had a De-brief after the evacuation and had some feedback. However, this time we did better as compared to the Ubin trip, as were had some prior skill in mind and we worked with a team of mixed gender, and some voulnteer to take up different roles such as recorder and runner.

Though we did a better and good job but there are still room to improve before the Chiag Rai trip (11-24 Dec).
